Set producer commission splits
Define producer compensation percentages with effective dates.

Create a split
Open Producers, then Manage commission splits. Select a Producer, enter Producer share of commission (%) from 0 to 100, and choose Effective from. Optionally choose Effective to. Select Save producer split.
A 60% split of $100 in carrier-paid commission yields $60 producer compensation and $40 agency retained. The split applies to carrier-paid commission, not the policy premium.
Change rates over time
To replace a rate, choose New end date for the previous split and select Close on date, then add the replacement split with the correct new start date.
The payout preview uses the split effective on its selected commission date. Overlapping split rules trigger a review warning.
Important limits
A policy can currently have only one assigned producer. Independent producer splits are not required to total 100% across different producers.
