Built by an agent who was fed up.
Not another bloated insurance platform. Just the commission tools I wished I had when I was buried in spreadsheets, carrier statements, and unanswered questions.
The problem
Sound painfully familiar?
I'm an insurance agent. And like a lot of agents, I got tired of chasing commissions.
Google Sheets over here. Microsoft Excel over there. PDFs from a dozen different carriers. Commission schedules with their own rates, rules, and terms. And somewhere in that mess, the same question kept coming up: When am I actually getting paid?!
It's hard enough to keep up with your own production. Start thinking about building an agency, bringing on producers, setting commission splits, and keeping track of everyone's payouts? Suddenly that spreadsheet problem becomes a full-time job.
I didn't want another complicated system to manage. I wanted something that made commission day make sense.
The turning point
So I built the tools I wanted to use.
That's how SplitVerde started. A practical way to compare expected commissions against carrier payments, flag discrepancies, and organize producer splits and payout records. I built it around the everyday headaches I knew firsthand — and then decided to make it available to other agents, too.
