Prepare fictional CSV files
Expected CSV header: policy,amount. Rows: SV-1001,100.00; SV-1002,75.00; SV-1003,50.00.
Carrier payments CSV header: policy, amount. Rows: SV-1001,100.00; SV-1002,60.00; SV-1004,20.00. Save as two separate .csv files.
Upload and compare
Open Reconciliation and upload both files into their matching inputs. The expected total is $225.00 and carrier-paid total is $180.00. Four distinct policy identifiers appear across the inputs.
Read the results
SV-1001: Matched ($100 expected, $100 paid). SV-1002: Underpaid ($75 expected, $60 paid, difference -$15). SV-1003: Missing payment ($50 expected, $0 paid, difference -$50). SV-1004: Unexpected payment ($0 expected, $20 paid, difference +$20).
The reconciliation difference (paid minus expected) is -$45. The dashboard aggregate (expected minus paid) would be +$45 if this were the only saved run. Neither is by itself a confirmed amount owed.
Export or save
Download discrepancies CSV exports the three nonmatched policies. Save reconciliation preserves the results in Reports. Practice runs count toward your saved-report limit.
